509Z. <+> to Harrod, 9 November, 1938 [a]

This letter from the Private Secretary to the King replies to a complaint, sent in by Harrod on 3 November, regarding a Christmas card juxtaposing the King and a politician, advertised in The Times. An undated note in Harrod's handwriting specifies: "The Times never re-issued their advertisment of the Christmas card". [1]
