3 May 1922
[a]
Scott-Stokes
thanks Harrod for Marx and his comments.
[1] He agrees that Marx is merely one who thinks aloud,
and recognises the need of some serious economics. He also criticizes
Marx's theory of rent.
- 1. Probably
refers to Harrod's notes on H. B. W. Joseph's lectures on "Justice
and Wages" (in HP V-12) , which he attended during Hilary term
1921.
- a. From
Kalamazoo Works, Northfield, Birmingham # , two
