426R. O. J. R. Howarth to Harrod, 4 February 1935 [a]

Howarth, as the secretary of the British Association for the Advancement of Science informs Harrod that the Council invites him to accept the vice-presidency of Section F (Economic Science and Statistics), for the meeting to be held in Norwich on 4-11 September 1935. [1]

1. 1. Documents preserved among the British Association Papers (BAAS 337) indicate that Harrod took part in the Committee meetings towards the preparation of the Norwich meeting, although it is not clear whether or not he had accepted to be one of the vice-presidents.
