Congratulations to Prof. Jean-Francois Hennart!
He is the 2012 winner of the Booz & Co./Strategy + Business Eminent Scholar in International Management Award, recognising his lifetime contribution to the field of International Management, and especially his work in Transaction Cost Economics.
The award is given to one recipient annually by the International Management Division of the Academy of Management. With more than 2800 members worldwide, the International Management Division is one of the largest of the Academy.
Previous awardees include Jagdish Bhagwati (Columbia), Stephen Kobrin (Wharton), Harry Triandis (U. of Illinois), Ikujiro Nonaka (Hitotsubashi U,), and the late C.K. Prahalad (U. of Michigan).
