206R. Harrod to J. Viner, 25 March 1931 [a]

Harrod asks Viner to ask Gunn to explain to the University, before it comes to a vote, that "the Rockefeller people would not turn something down just because it does not embody the Majority plans." Harrod stresses that "a great many people in Oxford want the Research Library", but are driven along by the conservatives on the "support the majority report' argument. Continues at 207 R.
