147R. M. Palyi to Harrod, 18 February 1928 [a]

Palyi thanks Harrod for a card (not found), describes his stay in Chicago, and comments on Harrod's projected book on International Economics: "A fine idea of yours to write a book on commercial policy! In spite of your tutorial work you ought to start immediately; once started something will come out, anyway." [1]

  1. 1. Harrod, International Economics ( 1933:10 ). The book was commissioned by Keynes early in 1927 (see letters 131 , 134 and 135 ), but for a long time Harrod did not feel like starting at it: see note 1 to letter 135 .
