117R. C. W. Jones to Harrod, 9 June 1926 [a]

Jones, the chairman of British Institute of International Affairs's Programme Sub-Committee, suggests some preliminary arrangement for an address Harrod was willing to give at Chatham House "on some subject like International Cartels, or something else which is being studied by the Economic group". [1]

  1. 1. No further evidence is extant concerning the proposed lecture. It was, however, part of the British Institute of International Affairs' research on cartels: see in particular letters 89 R, 92 R and 124 R. Another letter from Jones, dated 17 June, suggesting to wait further, is filed in HP V-114.
