602Z. Shepherd to Harrod, 10 August, 1939 [a]
Follows on from 601 Z. Shepherd thanks for a letter (not found) dated August 5, with comments relating to the alterations introduced to meet Craven-Ellis's and Sir Charles's points on bank credit and savings, and on the cessation of future borrowing. The point raised by Harrod in his the article on "Conscription of Wealth"  was accepted, that conscription of men should be accompanied by conscription of profit.
