484Z. Harrod to Keynes, 26 August, 1938 [a]

Follows on from 782 , answered by 486 Z. Harrod sends additional information on his dealing with Liepmann regarding Beveridge's History of Prices, [1] for which a sum was to be voted by the RES. The Rockefeller Foundation would be interested in partly financing the enterprise, if some conspicuous English subscription could be produced. Harrod had kept Hawtrey informed of the negotiations.
