"I am beginning to think that I ought to write a book on F[ederal] R[eserve] B[anks]. [1] That means abandoning the scientific life via it. [2] I have just had 5 pages of Prices's smallest hand and most compressed style--`Sensa, qualities of what?'" [3]

  1. 1. Harrod later asked Macgregor's advice as to a series of lectures on the Federal Reserve System: see letter 102 and note 1 for further details on the lectures.

    2. No further documents explaining this statement have been found.
