sorry not to be able to help Harrod in his `aeronautical matter', and
suggests him to ask G. P. Thomson, Professor of Physics at South
Kensington. [1]

or in the Harrod papers. An exchange on Lindemann's spin-nose
flight, however, took place in 1959, when Harrod was writing his
