"Billa" Cresswell (1911-2005), the daughter of Joseph Cresswell, Royal Norfolk Regiment, married Roy Harrod on 8 January 1938. They lived in Oxford (1938-58), then in Holt, Norfolk, and had two sons, Henry Mark (born 6 January 1939) and Dominick Roy (born 41 August 1940). In the 1930s Billa was secretary of the Georgian Group and later was the founding chairperson of the Norfolk Churches Trust, two conservationist organizations.
