Bryan Walter Guinness (1905-92, succeeded father as 2nd Baron Moyne, 1944) was educated at Eton and Christ Church. A poet and novelist, he was called to the Bar, Inner Temple (1930) and was vice-chairperson of Arthur Guinness, Son & Co. He married Diana Mitford (1929; dissolved 1934). He was one of Harrod's undergraduate aesthete friends (see note 1 to letter 160 R).
