Educated at St. Mark's School, Windsor, and University College, Oxford, Craig (1892-1939) was demonstrator in the electrical laboratory (1905-13), assistant registrar and secretary to the Board of Faculties (1907-24), fellow of Magdalen College (1918-30) and registrar of the University of Oxford (1924-30).
