58R. M. Palyi to Harrod, 4 June, 1923 [a]
Replies to two letters not found. Palyi is glad that Harrod's visit to Germany was profitable. He is also glad that Harrod was interested in Max Weber's book, asks if Harrod could send him some books in English--in particular, the latest from Hawtrey and Lavington --, and asks for suggestions as to which books could be translated into German.
2. R. G. Hawtrey, Monetary Reconstruction, London: Longmans, 1923; F. Lavington, The Trade Cycle: An Account of the Causes Producing Rhythmical Changes in the Activity of Business, London: King & Son, 1922. Harrod sent the books on 12 June, for which Palyi thanked on 19 June (in KHLM 197).
