Blacker, Carlos Paton

Educated at Eton and Balliol College, Oxford, Blacker (1895-1975) was registrar at the Department of Psychological Medicine at Guy's Hospital (1927-36), and honorary secretary of the Population Investigation Committee under Carr-Saunders 's chairmanship. He wrote papers and books on psychological medicine, birth control, eugenics and population.
