Of the 2000 copies of The Trade Cycle originally printed, about 300 remain. [1] Mulgan, of the Clarendon Press, explains the procedure in the events of a photographic reprint or of a new edition. See 794 R.

A few months earlier Harrod was told by a correspondent in New York that copies of The Trade Cycle (Harrod 1936:8 ) were on display at all booksellers and in all the libraries, that the book had a decided influence in the U.S. and was especially well known in financial centres like Wall Street (<Fentan Gentry> to Harrod, 30 April 1938, in HPBL Add. 71192/40-41)
