751R. Harrod to J. M. Keynes, 24 January 1938 [a]

Harrod liked the subject suggested for Keynes's paper, and was thinking himself "of doing a heavy methodological piece about statics & dynamics, the scope of pure theory, the place of induction etc." He discusses the date of publication of the presidential address in the Economic Journal.
2. Harrod wrote again to Keynes on this subject on 25 January, promising that the address would be ready by 8 or 10 July (in RES/1/2/117-18). The address was actually set by the end of June: see letters 778 and 787 .
