732R. Francis Fremantle to Harrod, 3 January 1938 [a]

Follows on from 729 R, the exchange concludes at 756 R. Fremantle thanks Harrod for a letter of 1 January, and waits for the second draft of the letter to be sent to The Times. [1] Wishing Harrod a happy and fertile marriage, Fremantle comments: "I had no idea you had such a hidden motive behind your keenness on the statistics of the birth rate as to at once start a personal experiment!" [2]
