My attention has just been drawn to a passage in an article by you in the current supplement of the Revue d'Economie Politique, in which, divagating somewhat surprisingly from the topic of the teaching of Economics in Oxford, you describe me as advocating deflation & extreme laissez faire. [1]
Is this a correct translation? I hope not. I cannot believe that in the course of relations which I have always assumed to be friendly, I have ever done anything to deserve it.
