My dear Haberler

There has been some criss-crossing in our letters. Your letter which I received yesterday dated Nov. 6 referred to your pausing to reconsider "my first point" and I assumed that was the main point we had at issue and expressed pleasure accordingly in mine dated [b] Nov. 9. But by your letter of this morning (dated Nov. 7) I see that this is not so.

I had some talk about this point with Marschak [1] --tho' for arbitration you would have to submit your case--and he agreed with me that SI implies an unnatural definition of S or I.

Yours

Roy Harrod
