My dear Roy - thank God for honest indignation - no, I am not going to corrupt anyone else, & my children are likely to remain little Quakers - & not even labelled that.

You know, I absolutely disagree with Freud & his old `Future of an Illusion'.

I can't do with all this scientific humbug at all - I mean, it may be right & proper, but I'm not that sort of man. In ten years time I'll tell you what sort I really am - I frankly admit I don't quite know at the moment, & you can't conceivably be more .... than I am! I think I have an incurable appetite for the fantastic & impossible. Don't cut me off altogether.
