Very many thanks for your labours. I have written to W., & return you his letter. I shall be surprised & delighted if anything comes of it. I tried it out on some sanctimonious people (who are holding a holiday conference here) yesterday, & could not but feel that the goods were not quite the wear; but it gave me anyway a lot of ungodly pleasure!
